How we are judging
After the contest closes on December 12, 2011, a panel of judges made up of Environment Commission members and CVRD staff will choose the top 3 videos in each age category.
First place winners in each age category will receive $500, second place $300 and third place $200. The winners will be announced on December 15, 2011.
The judges evaluation of each video will be based on:
- Effectiveness of message (50%)
- Innovation, creativity and originality (20%)
- Promotions of environmental stewardship and analysis of issues (15%)
- Leadership in proposing solutions (15%)
