Categories and prizes
Individual Category
To enter the contest, you must live within the Cowichan Valley Regional District, fit into one of the following age categories as of the date of submission, and meet the other requirements outlined in the contest terms and conditions.
- 8-12 years
- 13-18 years
- 19-24 years
Group Category
Groups are classified as two or more people who collaborated to make the video. To enter the contest, group members must permanently reside in the Cowichan Valley Regional District, must all be within the age range of 8 – 24 years, and meet other requirements outlined in the contest terms and conditions.
Note: Individuals are permitted to submit only one video. There are no restrictions on the number of videos a group may submit, but the make-up of the group must be different for each video. Everyone who collaborates on a video must be credited on the video.
Prizes
Individual submission prizes
There will be a first, second and third prize for each age category.
- First Prize - $300
- Second Prize - $200
- Third Prize - $100
Group submission prizes
There will be a first, second and third prize for the group category.
- First Prize - $700
- Second Prize - $500
- Third Prize - $300
